Letters to Parents

Booking a test

  • There is a quick turnaround for booking a test and getting the results, so please don’t hesitate to book one if you or your child has any of the Covid 19 symptoms – a high temperature, a new continuous cough, loss or change to your sense of smell or taste

Symptoms or cases

  • Parents should inform school if your child has any symptoms within 48 hours of being at school (ie Monday)

  • Parents should inform school if your child has a confirmed Covid case, with symptoms occurring within 48 hours of being at school (ie symptoms before Monday, even if results come at a later date)

  • If your child tests positive for Covid having developed symptoms more than 48 hours since last being in school, you do not need to contact us at school (ie after Monday.) Instead you will need to contact NHS Track & Trace.

How to contact school during the holidays

  • Please call the school telephone number and leave a message saying your child’s name and explaining the Covid situation. Please leave a telephone contact number.

  • Mrs Dance will return your call

  • The answerphone will be monitored daily

Hedgehog and Tortoise wanted to give each other a great, big hug....but they are not allowed to touch. A lovely story to share with your children.

Child Anxiety

The below link is a very good, short (8 minute) video clip for parents to support their child’s anxiety and the return to school in September.  Please also click here to download the fact sheet which goes with the video.
